There are so many different blender meals that you can make that blenders are easily becoming one of the top appliances you can add to your kitchen. As more and more people are turning to healthy food choices a blender is a must have on any kitchen counter. As an added bonus, these meals are delicious to eat and simple to make.

If you are looking for a way to make the ultimate smoothie, you’ll need to have a blender by your side. With a blender, you’ll be able to not only follow a pre-made recipe to make your smoothies but you will also be able to create new ones on your own. You can whip up a great smoothie using different fruits that are available at different times of the season.

Make a fast and easy chicken wing glaze by dicing together apricot preserves, garlic, tomatoes and onions in your blender. 2. Soups

A low sodium and low-fat chicken broth is the perfect starting point for a soup that is healthy. Choose some vegetables that you love and steam or simmer them until they turn soft. Once these vegetables have been cooked add them to your blender. Pour in the chicken broth and select purée. Mix until it is creamy and then pour this mixture over noodles and stir-fried chicken. This creates a healthy and hearty meal.

You can also serve cold soups made with your blender. Favorites in the summer such as cool pumpkin soup or chilled cucumber soup mix together perfectly in a blender. To make cucumber soup, place fresh cucumber into the blender and then add some creamy chicken soup. Add some sour cream and diced onion to the mix. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper to taste.

This mixture needs to be blended until creamy and then poured into a bowl. Refrigerate for approximately 2 hours and then serve garnished with a parsley sprig. People will think that you have been preparing this soup for hours and it is one of the best blender meals for a hot summer’s day.

3. Protein shake

When you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, smoothies and protein shakes are quick and easy to make. When you don’t have the time to sit down and enjoy a full meal, these are great on-the-go meal replacements that are both filling and healthy.

To make a fast smoothie place a banana in the carafe along with a few strawberries and vanilla yogurt. This makes a delicious and healthy breakfast. If you want something a bit sweeter, vanilla ice cream can be substituted in the place of yogurt. This turns out to be a fantastic shake. By adding a bit of protein power to the drink you’ll have created a protein shake that can supply a lot of extra energy when you need it most during the day.

There is nothing more nutritious and delicious for your baby than homemade baby food. It is always nice to know that your baby will be receiving fresh food that you have prepared on your own.
